Part of a collaboration with designer Martha McQuade of Uniform Natural and model Julia Davidson, this Polaroid was shot while photographing the 2009 fall/winter collection for UN called Gleaning.
Taken with a vintage Polaroid SLR 680 SE camera using 779 film, the original Polaroid has been digitally scanned and cropped, and professionally printed on Kodak Endura archival paper. A water based Luster coating and a linen texture have been added. The print size is 8x8. The image is printed edge to edge without a border.
Only 15 of these prints are being made available for sale. Each print is signed and numbered on the back and shipped in a cellophane sleeve with an acid-free backboard.
Please note that these prints will be available to ship on or after 10.9.09. Also, the minor color variations and slight blurring you may notice are part of the original image. No attempt has been made to remove them. These imperfections are inherent to Polaroid photography and are part of its charm.
