There's a lot of beauty to be found in life right before it ends. That was certainly true with this bunch of Ranunculus. When I moved the vase just slightly so that it was sitting in the pool of light flooding through my back door, petals began to cascade everywhere. It was both unexpected and lovely.
This photograph was taken with a vintage Polaroid SX-70 camera using 600 film. The original Polaroid has been digitally scanned and cropped, and professionally printed on Kodak Endura archival paper with an added water-based Lustre coating for a truly matte finish. The print size is 8x10. The actual image size is roughly 7x7.
Only 50 prints of this image are being made available for sale. Each print is signed and numbered on the back and shipped in a cellophane sleeve with an acid-free backboard.
